Game Objective
Place tents in empty squares so every tree can be paired with one tent next to it. A tent must be directly above, below, left, or right of its tree. The 8 squares around a tent, including diagonals, cannot contain another tent. The edge numbers tell how many tents belong in each row or column.
Place a tent next to each tree.
How to Play
Left-click an empty square to place or remove a tent. Right-click to mark grass, meaning you know no tent can go there. Right-drag along a row or column to mark several grass squares quickly.
These puzzles reward careful deduction more than speed. Start with the most constrained clues, eliminate impossible choices step by step, and avoid guessing unless the puzzle specifically calls for it.
Beginner Tips
- Rows or columns with a clue of 0 contain no tents, so mark all their empty squares as grass.
- If a tree has only one possible empty square next to it, that square must be its tent.
- After placing a tent, all eight surrounding squares cannot contain another tent.
