Game Objective

Fill every empty square as black or white. In every row and every column, the number of black squares must equal the number of white squares. Also, three squares of the same color may not appear in a row, so black-black-black and white-white-white are both forbidden.

Fill in the black and white grid to avoid runs of three.

How to Play

Left-click an empty square to make it black. Right-click an empty square to make it white. Click a filled square again to cycle between black, white, and empty; middle-click clears a square.

These puzzles reward careful deduction more than speed. Start with the most constrained clues, eliminate impossible choices step by step, and avoid guessing unless the puzzle specifically calls for it.

Beginner Tips

  • If you see two same-color squares together, the square directly before or after them must be the opposite color.
  • If a row or column already has enough black squares, all remaining empty squares in that line must be white, and vice versa.
  • On larger puzzles, two completed rows or two completed columns usually cannot be identical.
