Game Objective
Arrange the numbered tiles in order, leaving the blank square in the final position. This is the classic sliding tile puzzle.
Slide the tiles around to arrange them into order.
How to Play
Click a tile in the same row or column as the blank to slide that whole line toward the blank. You can also use the keyboard to move tiles next to the blank square.
These puzzles reward careful deduction more than speed. Start with the most constrained clues, eliminate impossible choices step by step, and avoid guessing unless the puzzle specifically calls for it.
Beginner Tips
- Solve the puzzle row by row from the top, then column by column if needed.
- Protect solved areas. Most late moves should happen inside the remaining unsolved region.
- For the last two rows, solve tile pairs together rather than chasing a single tile.
